Debbie Hansen
Executive Director of Operations
Debbie Hansen is a seasoned leader with a passion for operational excellence. As an executive director, she coordinates the operational support for the Division of Online & Continuing Education (DOCE) programs and services. Debbie's role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of DOCE's innovative and entrepreneurial programs and services, which are supported by a team of experts in various areas, including finance, enrollment, registration, IT and building support for DOCE centers, course setup, payroll for instructional wages, reporting, software development and state authorization.
Debbie has worked at Weber State for more than 20 years and her leadership experience and passion for operational excellence fit perfectly with her role as Executive Director of DOCE Operations. Debbie’s previous professional roles include program administrator, operations manager, assistant director of Payroll, instructional designer, financial analyst, and director of DOCE finance and enrollment. Her commitment to excellence and efficiency is an integral part of her strategic leadership and a focus of her everyday work. She absolutely loves helping people and making a difference.
Debbie has a master's degree in English with coursework also completed in 日本一级片’s MEd program and a bachelor's of integrated studies degree with emphasis areas in English, Business Systems Technologies and Child & Family Studies.
With Debbie’s skills in organization, being detail-oriented, and staying focused on achieving excellence in all areas of DOCE's operations, the best part of Debbie's job is the opportunity to work with a lot of people, providing support and creating processes and procedures.
