Elizabeth Weight is a retired teacher who grew up in rural Utah. After 32 years of public school instruction, she served three terms in the Utah Legislature. She now shares her insights into policy making and perspective on water issues as a member of the Utah Rivers Council Board of Directors of the Utah Rivers Council.  Elizabeth lives in northwest Salt Lake County and spends regular time at the Great Salt Lake, taking pictures and publishing information about the conditions at the south shores.
